Built for more than charity tournaments
Choose the type of golf event you’re organizing and configure it around your needs.
Charity Tournament
Fundraisers, nonprofit events, community tournaments, sponsor-driven outings, and benefit events.
Club Tournament
Golf-club events, leagues, invitationals, championships, and other organized club competitions.
Member Tournament
Member-only or member-guest events organized for a private or semi-private golf club.
Corporate Tournament
Company outings, client events, employee golf days, networking tournaments, and business events.
Private Tournament
Invitation-only events organized for a private group that still needs full tournament-management tools.
Other Golf Event
Use Tune-Up Golf for another organized golf event that doesn’t fit one of the standard categories.
Shotgun or tee-time format
Build your preferred golf groups first. The golf course or pro shop can make the final tee-time or starting-hole assignments.
Shotgun Start
Build the golfer groups and use A/B or other group labels when necessary. The pro shop can use your grouping information to assign the final starting holes.
Tee-Time Format
Organize the groups in your preferred playing order — Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, and so on. The pro shop can then assign the actual tee times.
From registration to the golf course
Create the Event
Add the course, date, event type, format, pricing, registration information, contests, food and beverage details, and sponsor options.
Register Golfers
Use a public link, QR code, private invitation, or another approved registration method.
Build Preferred Groups
Arrange the eligible golfers into the groups they want to play with before sending the final grouping information to the golf course.
You organize the golfers. The pro shop makes the final course assignment.
Tune-Up Golf lets the tournament organizer build the preferred player groups so the golf course knows who wants to play together.
The organizer can also provide a preferred group order or A/B grouping, but the golf course or pro shop retains final authority over actual tee times, starting holes, and other course assignments.
Keep the moving pieces organized
Large golf events have a lot more going on than just who is playing.
Registration Tracking
See who has registered, who has paid, and who still needs attention.
Paid-Player Eligibility
Configure the tournament so only paid golfers become eligible for final preferred group assignment.
Preferred Player Groups
Arrange golfers based on who wants to play together, group requests, and organizer preferences.
A / B Grouping
Use A/B golfer or group classifications when needed for shotgun assignments or event organization.
Food & Beverage
Tell golfers what’s included, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or other event amenities.
Contests & Prizes
List closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, putting contests, hole-in-one opportunities, prizes, and other event activities.
Player Communications
Send confirmations, reminders, tournament updates, and final group information.
Updates & Photos
Keep event announcements, results, winner photos, participant photos, and tournament memories connected to the event.
Golf-Course Export
Give the pro shop a clean list of the preferred groups so they don’t have to recreate the tournament manually.
Manage tournament sponsors too
Create sponsorship packages with different prices, benefits, recognition levels, and complimentary golf spots.
After the tournament is created, Tune-Up Golf can provide a tournament-specific sponsorship link that the organizer can send directly to prospective sponsors.
Sponsors can select from the options offered by that event and follow the tournament organizer’s payment instructions.
- Title or presenting sponsor
- Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze
- Hole sponsors
- Contest sponsors
- Food / beverage sponsors
- Sponsorship amount
- Included benefits
- Comped golf spots
- Logo and content approval
Give the tournament its own Updates & Photos area.
Once the tournament is created, its logged-in event area can automatically include a private feed tied specifically to that tournament.
Tournament Updates
Post announcements, event-day information, schedule updates, reminders, and other tournament news.
Results & Winners
Post final results, contest winners, flight winners, prizes, skins results, and other event outcomes.
Photos & Memories
Participants can contribute tournament photos when permitted by the organizer, creating one place for event memories.
Sponsor Recognition
Recognize sponsors in tournament updates, photos, winner announcements, and other event-related posts.
Organizer Moderation
The tournament organizer can moderate posts, remove inappropriate content, and download photos associated with the event.
Private or Public
Keep posts visible only to authorized tournament participants or make selected posts eligible to appear on the main Tune-Up Golf Blog.
Public, private, or QR-code registration
Your tournament can be invitation-only or made available for public registration when appropriate.
Public events can use a registration link or QR code on flyers, signs, emails, social posts, and event materials.
Organizers remain in control of player limits, registration status, payment requirements, and event availability.
Give the golf course the groups you’ve already organized
Save the pro shop from rebuilding the player groups manually.
Tournament grouping export
Choose PDF, Excel/CSV, or another available export format and send the preferred player groups directly to the golf course.
For a tee-time event, groups can be listed in the organizer’s preferred order. For a shotgun event, groups can use A/B or other labels when appropriate.
- Organizer / tournament name
- Event type
- Game date
- Preferred group number or label
- Player names organized by golf group
- Member or guest status when applicable
- If a golfer is a guest, whose guest they are
