Getting Started

From account creation to the first tee.

The goal is to keep the process simple whether you’re joining someone else’s game or organizing your own.

1

Create Your Account

Register for Tune-Up Golf and create your golfer profile. Users must be 18 or older.

2

Build Your Profile

Add the information you want to use for games, including your golf information, preferences, and available profile details.

3

Find or Create Golf

Join an available game, respond to an invitation, create your own game, or manage a recurring group.

4

Get the Final Details

See the final course, player group, reserved tee time, and other game information once the organizer publishes it.

Find a Game

Looking for somewhere to play?

Golf organizers can choose to make games available to other Tune-Up Golf members. You can search for those games and request to join.

Search Available Games

Look for games based on course, location, date, game type, and your playing preferences.

Request to Join

Send the organizer a request instead of having their personal phone number or email published publicly.

Organizer Decides

The organizer accepts or declines the request. Acceptance does not guarantee a particular reserved tee time until final assignments are published.

Organize Golf

Turn the group text into an organized game.

Tune-Up Golf is designed to reduce the back-and-forth that normally comes with organizing golf.

Reserve With the Course First

The organizer reserves the tee time or tee times directly with the golf course or pro shop. Tune-Up Golf does not book the reservation.

Post the Reserved Tee Times

After the reservation is made, post those reserved tee times inside the Tune-Up Golf game or recurring group so players can be invited to them.

Invite & RSVP

Invite your golfers and keep track of Yes, No, and outstanding responses for the posted game.

Recurring Golf Groups

Create the group once. Use it week after week.

If you organize golf regularly, create a permanent group instead of rebuilding the same player list for every game.

Create Your Group

Create and name your recurring golf group and maintain the golfers associated with it.

Post This Week’s Reserved Tee Times

After reserving the tee times with the golf course or pro shop, post those reserved times inside your Tune-Up Golf group for that week’s game.

Invite the Group

Invite golfers from the existing group, collect the week’s responses, and see who is available to play.

Finalize the Game

Put the accepted golfers into the reserved tee times.

Once you know who is playing, the organizer can arrange the accepted golfers into the final player groups connected to the tee times already reserved with the course.

Review Accepted Golfers

See who accepted the invitation and review any tee-time or playing-partner preferences they submitted.

Assign the Golf Groups

Arrange accepted golfers into the appropriate player groups for each of the tee times you already reserved.

Publish Final Details

When everything is ready, publish the final golf group, reserved tee time, course information, and other game-day details.

Updates & Photos

Keep the stories and pictures connected to the golf.

Games, recurring groups, and tournaments can each have an Updates & Photos area tied automatically to the correct activity.

One-Time Games

A one-time game can keep announcements, game-day photos, results, skins winners, and other memories attached to that specific outing.

Recurring Groups

A recurring golf group has an ongoing group feed for announcements, recaps, results, photos, and the group’s history over time.

Golf Tournaments

Tournament feeds can include event updates, photos, winners, contest results, and sponsor recognition.

Member Photo Sharing

Authorized members or participants can upload photos when the applicable organizer has enabled member posting.

Organizer Moderation

Organizers can moderate posts, remove inappropriate content, and download photos from their group, game, or tournament feed.

Private or Public

Content can remain private to the applicable group or event, while selected posts may be made eligible for the public Tune-Up Golf Blog.

Recurring-group access: An active member of a recurring golf group can continue to access that group’s private Updates & Photos feed even when they are not playing in a particular week’s game. If the organizer removes the golfer from the group, their access to the private group feed ends.
Golf Tournaments

More players. More moving parts. One place to manage them.

Tune-Up Golf provides a separate tournament workflow for larger golf events.

Registration & Payments

Manage registered golfers, participation status, and event payment information.

Preferred Player Groups

Organize golfers into preferred groups for the pro shop while allowing the golf course to determine final tee times, starting holes, and other course assignments.

Sponsors, Updates & Event Details

Create sponsorship opportunities, share a tournament-specific sponsor link, manage sponsors, contests, food, communications, updates, results, and event photos.

Golf Resources

Courses and instructors connect to the rest of the platform.

Golf Courses

Search the Tune-Up Golf course directory and use the same course records when organizing games and tournaments.

Golf Instructors

Search instructors by location, teaching facility, lesson type, specialty, and other available profile information.

Course-Based Connections

Games, tournaments, instructors, and other relevant golf activity can connect through the golf course where it is happening.
